Ruthin Flower Show 2008
The 120th Annual Ruthin Flower Show and Grand Carnival will take place this year in Ruthin on Saturday 19th July 2008.The Flower Show will officially open at 12.30 p.m. at their new venue for 2008, the Ruthin Farmers Auction Site in Ruthin.

Gwyl Ruthin Festival 2008
Gwyl Ruthin Festival will be held this year from June 30 to July 6. Welsh bands will top the bill at this summer's festival. Moniars, the Anglesey folk group will also entertain the crowds and will bring the activities to a close on the Satruday night.

A Vale of Clwyd town has been cited as one of the most desireable country towns in the UK, according to a national newspaper report. Ruthin appeared in the Top 50 list of country towns, which appeared in the Daily Telegraph, the only Welsh town to appear in the list.

From Bond Street to Clwyd Street
Retailers across Denbighshire are set to be shown a new window to their world thanks to a training scheme run by Denbighshire County Council and Cadwyn Clwyd. The council has called on the services of Leonie Gladwin, whose talent and eye for window display areas has seen her working for the likes of Burberry and Fenwicks of Bond Street. Leonie was born and raised in Rhyl, before travelling the globe and dressing windows across the UK.
